I do not think that the USA should export nearly all immigrants and start over. It would do big damage to a lot of immigrants and non-immigrants. All the immigrants who would get exported would lose their home (their house/apartment) and their job. And this could also cause problems for their employers and friends.
Exporting all immigrants could cause huge problems for a lot of people who are already living and making their living in America. They would lose the homes they already got used to as well as the friends they have already made. And they would probably lose their jobs, as long as their employer does not agree to not give their jobs to other people until they return. That could do permanent damage to their lives. Another very important point is that people from some countries (for example people from the Philippines) do not actually have a legal migration option, since the legal way would require them to wait decades.
But the exportation would not only affect them, their employers and friends would also suffer from it. Losing an experienced worker, who is used to the kind of work he/she is supposed to do, as well as having to find a new person for a job could be a time-related and a money-related problem for a company. Furthermore, separating the immigrants and non-immtgrants who are living with each other could be emotionally devastating for both sides. Finally, the exportation of the immigrants would affect both the American economy and the economy of other states, since problems of the immigrant's American companies could also have negative effects on non-American countries they trade with.
