s the best solution to the problems plaguing the US immigration system to export nearly all immigrants and start over?

Immigration, perhaps more than any other social, political, or economic process, has shaped the United States as a nation. The immigration-driven transformation of the country's economic and social landscape has previously occurred during distinct historical periods. Without immigration, the U.S. wouldn’t be as it is today.

There are currently 42.4 million immigrants in the U.S. 42.4 million people who living in the U.S., who have jobs and experience, friends, and family. Exporting all immigrants would not just cost billions of dollars, but also cause huge problems for these immigrants. They would lose their own homes, their property without having a word to say. Those people live in the U.S. and have a life like any other citizen in America. And exporting immigrants would “end” their life, they would probably lose their jobs, because their employer probably won’t wait for their return and heir other people. That could cause an end to their social and secured life, as long as they aren’t lucky enough to get the chance to stay.

Furthermore the exportation would have an effect not only on the life’s of the immigrants, but also on the U.S. itself. The immigrants lived probably in the U.S. for quite a while and had an effect on the people around them too. Friends, coworker, family, all of them will suffer of losing a part of their life. Employer suffer too, they would lose experienced workers, who are used to the work their is supposed to do, as well as having to find new employees, what could cost a lot of money and take a lot of time and that could be a huge problem for a  company. Especially if they lose thousands of worker. That could lead to a globally problem, as long as the American companies aren’t able to trade with non-American countries, those countries will also suffer.

In the end, the exportation of the immigrants wouldn’t just affect both American economy, but also the economy of other states. So no, that solution, is not a real solution. Just another unthoughtful idea.
